I am currently a student at Portland State University in Portland, OR. I live in downtown Portland, and I am studying veterinary medicine. I am currently 20 years old. My interests...my interests change on a daily basis, so I guess I'll just start with the ones that don't change. Ok, I enjoy science, most of all chemistry and biology. Now, some people would say that biology isn't a science, but to them I say "meh?" I have three cats, Sigil aka The Widge or Fattest Cutest, Barf, and Oxbow aka Stomp-stomp, Ox Box, or The Bear. I'm a huge fan of music and some great artists and bands include: Pain, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch-22, Bouncing Souls, Against Me, Fair to Midland, Murder by Death, Sublime, Ben Folds, Guttermouth, Zebrahead, Millencolin, Cake, The Streets, The White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Rancid, The Cure, The Doors, Bob Dylan, AFI, Damien Rice, Tori Amos, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, Tool, Dead Kennedys, Screeching Weasel, The Toasters, Goldfinger, Mad Caddies, The Decemberists, Michael Franti, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Save Ferris, Tsunami Bomb, Third Eye Blind, Motion City Soundtrack, The Pixies, Jimmy Eat World, She Wants Revenge, Interpol, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Offspring, TV on the Radio, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Minus the Bear, Modest Mouse, Incubus. Whew, long list, and I'm pretty sure that's only a fraction but I'm sure its really boring to read a whole list of bands. I am interested in non-profit organizations and have done a lot of volunteering. I used to work on an organic farm and maybe hope to own my own small scale organic farm someday. I like being active, and I love camping and backpacking. I also try to snowboard as often as possible during the winter months.
